It will say under Wi-Fi at the bottom RangeMax NEXT Wireless-N USB. Next find your adapter, it will probably be called Wi-Fi 1 or 2 or something depending. From there look to the left of the window and select Change adapter settings.ģ. right-click the wifi icon and select Open Network and Sharing Center.Ģ.
What I had to do was go to the lower right hand corner andġ. However after I installed the drivers the device wouldn't connect to my home network! I finally fixed it and it works properly. The installer worked for me in Windows 10 64bit. I have the WN111 v1 and it works! (North%20Americ a).zip That is the direct link to the most current driver download from netgear. I have just run through the hurdles and gauntlet for this wifi adapter. I cannot find out from the netgear website whether it is supposed to work or not work on windows 10 so thus - hoping to get someone here who knows. It had worked fine on other laptops but none of them had windows 10. So I bought this wifi usb adapter - and it isn't showing up after doing the install on windows 10.

I have a new laptop with windows 10 that just flat-out WILL NOT CONNECT to the one and only wifi location where I spent the whole summer (it works everywhere else in the world - prolly over 500 different locations with no problem) and please don't tell me how to fix the pc's adapter problem I have already spent more time and tried everything listed on the internet anywhere and none of them worked. I don't know why this is so hard to find an answer to, but I don't suppose anyone can tell me definitively if this usb wifi adapter works with Windows 10 and if so, how to get it to work?
